Agreement to these terms

By creating an account or using Floq, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the service.

Floq is operated by CasaPay Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (“CasaPay”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

The service

Floq is an AI-assisted invoicing and rental finance management platform designed for UK landlords and rental businesses. The service enables you to create and send invoices, manage tenant records, track payments, and gain financial insights through a natural language chat interface.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract to use Floq. By using the service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

Floq is intended for business use by landlords and property professionals. Use of the service for personal, non-business purposes is outside the scope of these Terms.

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at floq@casapay.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts for the same individual.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Floq to:

  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights.
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information (including invoices).
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts.
  • Use automated tools to scrape, extract, or misuse our service beyond its intended purpose.
  • Transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.

AI-generated content

Floq uses AI (powered by Google Gemini) to assist with drafting invoices, summaries, and financial insights. AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying any content before sending it to tenants, submitting it to HMRC, or relying on it for financial decisions.

Nothing in Floq constitutes legal, tax, or financial advice. For regulated advice, consult a qualified professional.

Payment and subscription

Certain features of Floq require a paid subscription. Pricing is set out on our Pricing page. All prices are in GBP and exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods except where required by law.

Intellectual property

All software, design, trademarks, and content comprising the Floq service are owned by CasaPay Ltd or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

You retain ownership of all data and content you upload to Floq. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to store and process that data in order to provide the service.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CasaPay Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, or goodwill — arising from your use of Floq.

Our total liability to you in connection with the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident in the EU/EEA, you retain any mandatory statutory rights afforded to you under the laws of your country of residence, which these Terms do not override.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via the application. Continued use of Floq after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
